What is the Force Converter?

Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating kilograms as a force. A kilogram measures mass, not force. Only kilogram-force (kgf) is a force, equal to the weight of one kilogram under standard gravity. If you start from a mass in kg, multiply by gravity (about 9.80665 m/s squared) to get newtons before comparing forces.
