Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming GMT and London time are always the same. London only observes GMT for about five months a year. From late March to late October it runs on British Summer Time (BST, UTC+01:00), one hour ahead of GMT. "London time" and "GMT" are not interchangeable for most of the year even though they share a home meridian.
