How we test and rank tools
ToolNimba is a library of free calculators, converters and generators, plus guides that explain the maths and compare software. This page explains how both are checked.
Our own tools
Every calculator uses the standard formula shown on its page, and we check the results against worked examples before it goes live. If a result looks wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
Software comparisons
Prices, plans and free tiers come from each vendor's official pricing page. Features come from the vendor's product pages and documentation. When a vendor does not publish prices, the guide says so instead of guessing. Ratings from G2, Capterra or Trustpilot are shown only when we could check them, with the number of reviews.
The order follows the same criteria every time: fit for the use case in the title, price and free plan, the features that use case needs, ease of use, support, and third-party ratings.
Keeping it current
The date at the top of a guide shows when it was published or last updated. Guides are written by the ToolNimba Editorial Team.
